What to expect in this series is suspense and mystery, love but the real life kind of love with challenges and forces growth not the Cinderella kind

A phenomenal production by Ruth Kadiri under Rok Studios. Initially released in 2021 the Ruth Kadiri production has grown a loyal fan base over the years

“Love Me” is a Nollywood tale that centres around the Jegede family after the patriarch, chief Jagede, passes on. It tells the story of the chaos and conflict that arises after the children no longer have their father to keep them in line. The family members start fighting for family wealth and control of family assets, and with a maid, Ore in the line of the fire it only gets worse. Later into season one, we see Ore fall in love with one of the grandsons of the home which doesn’t sit well with her in-laws. Like this isn’t enough Ore’s mother starts rekindling feelings for one of the Jegede sons, feelings that she tried to kill before her current husband came into the picture. With more cheating, lies, betrayal, love and hate Ruth Kadiri takes us along on the journey of her character Oreoluwa.

The series which completed its 4th season, tells a captivating story, capturing all kinds of people one may encounter throughout their life in family life, friendship and business. If it’s the power-hungry family members we have the oldest Jegede son to represent, to the humble carefree one who has little to no care for wealth, the only granddaughter fills that role as well. The execution of the story is entertaining and appropriate however some may argue that killing off some characters like Ore’s child wasn’t necessary however that could be a dissatisfied fan speaking. From the onset of the series the mystery needed in a film to keep viewers plugged in was there, the mystery in the family both the obvious mystery and the one that took us by surprise the story writers did the story justice not to mention the actors lead by Ruth Kadiri who takes the role of “Ore” had good execution of their characters.

What to expect before watching this series is suspense and mystery, love but the real-life kind of love with challenges and growth not the Cinderella kind, finally, this series isn’t your typical maid falls for the boss’s son story, this story shows her fight her way to the top with and without her lovers help.

The Jegedes are your typical broken family that sticks together in their flaws because of public appearance and because they only have each other.
