Ann Hathaway presents another heartwarming love story, we know her from Princess Diaries, where she plays the role of a princess who is being moulded into the princess role, she’s not a princess this time, she’s a 40-year-old single mum who begins an unexpected romance with a 24 year old singer in a popular band played by Nicholas Galitzine, an actor who has played diverse roles one of his most recent being the prince of England in Red, white and Royal blue.
After the trailer release, all we know about the movie is they meet at Coachella, where the seed of their romance is planted. These two characters have never been in front of the screen together. This is expected to be a great hit because of the 93% rotten tomatoes rating and the concept of the age gap that is wildly received in the world and cinema. The life of a popular band singer can be a bushfire for a single mother with a simple quiet life and this is what we expect to see and more in the film.
The movie was initially released on the 16th of March 2024, and the official release of the film is expected on the 2nd of May on Prime Video. The director is Michael Showalter.
