The Monologue Vault

The Monologue Vault is an online acting competition by TAIM AFRICA, focused on monologue performances. Actors receive weekly assignments, record and upload their performances, and compete for rankings, earnings, and recognition.

Anyone aged 13 years or older from any country can participate. No prior acting experience is required - both beginners and professionals are welcome.

No. Applying is 100% free - no registration fees are required at any stage.

No. You do not need to be a professional actor - all levels of acting talent are welcome.

Your application will be reviewed. If approved, you will receive confirmation and access to the Assignments Page to begin participating.

This is a special page accessible only to approved actors. It lists weekly numbered monologues you can select from.

Each week, a set of numbers is posted by gender and age group. You choose one number.

If the number has a script attached, you receive the script and full performance instructions - and are expected to perform that week. If the number is empty, you are not required to perform that week.

No. Once you choose a number for the week, your selection is final.

Yes. If you pick an empty number or don’t select a number, you can skip that week.

After selecting a number with a script, follow the instructions provided to submit your performance video through your actor account.

Judges award points based on acting skill, creativity, delivery, and adherence to the script.

Yes. The public can vote for performances. A person can vote up to 2 times per week.

Voting takes place on the Voting Page or directly on each actor’s profile page.

Yes, public voting is open to anyone, including participants.

Leaderboard ranking is based on total scores from both judges and public voting.

The leaderboard is visible on the Leaderboard Page.

Every performance you submit earns TIP (TAIM Integrated Points) based on your score and public votes. TIP can be withdrawn to real currency.

TIP is the internal currency of TAIM AFRICA. 1 TIP ≈ $0.80 (exchange rates may vary).

Your earnings are displayed in the “Earnings” section of your actor profile.

Withdrawals can be made to your local bank account or mobile money through your TAIM Wallet.

Yes. After your application is approved, you must create a TAIM Wallet to manage your earnings.

You will be asked to provide your Username and Wallet ID after your application is approved - not during initial application.

No. Performances are recorded and submitted via your actor profile for viewing and judging online.

Each season runs for 12 weeks, with weekly monologue challenges. The exact schedule will be announced each season.

Once approved, you’ll receive instructions and can track weekly assignments on the Assignments Page.

No. As long as you continue choosing scripts and submitting performances, you remain an active participant.

No. Not all numbers will have scripts attached. Choosing an empty number means you are choosing not to perform that week.
