SAVI CIRCLE, powered by TAIM AFRICA, is a structured community savings and growth program designed for people who are tired of saving without reward and are ready to build wealth with purpose.

This is not just a savings group, it’s a system that combines financial discipline, profit sharing, and social empowerment. Let’s walk you through how SAVI CIRCLE works and why you should be part of it today.

Membership & Monthly Contributions

To join SAVI CIRCLE, every member commits to a monthly contribution of UGX 35,000.

Here’s how the UGX 35,000 is broken down:

• 30% (UGX 10,500) goes toward TAIM AFRICA’s approved impact projects in the creative, education, and technology sectors. These are the initiatives that help grow the circle.

• UGX 5,000 is automatically directed to the Brotherhood Fund - a shared support fund used to help members in critical need, emergencies, or loss.

Remaining UGX 19,500 is your actual savings, and this amount earns interest monthly.

Members may choose to:

• Pay monthly: UGX 35,000 each month.

• Pay annually: A one-time payment of UGX 420,000 (UGX 35,000 x 12 months).

Extra Savings (Top-Up Contributions)

In addition to the standard monthly contribution, you may add extra savings of any amount.

• No deductions are made on these top-up savings.

• They are 100% interest-earning from day one.

• They boost your eligibility for higher loan amounts and increase your end-of-year profit share.

Monthly Interest & Year-End Profit Sharing

Your UGX 19,500 monthly savings, plus any extra savings you add, earn 2% interest per month, compounded and visible in your dashboard.

On December 20th of every year, you receive:

• Your full withdrawable savings

• Total interest earned on your savings

• Your share of 40% of TAIM AFRICA’s profits, distributed proportionally across all active members based on their total savings.

This is not a promise, it’s a system. Your growth is measurable and guaranteed.

Withdrawals: How They Work

• Interest earned is withdrawable at any time.

• All savings (UGX 19,500 per month × 12 months) and interest are automatically withdrawable on 20th December each year.

• Need funds earlier? You can email savi@taimafricaarts.org to request early withdrawal. If approved by the committee, funds will be sent to you within 7 days.

Why restrict early withdrawals?
To maintain group discipline and financial stability. The strength of SAVI CIRCLE comes from collective commitment. However, in genuine cases, early withdrawals are processed.

Loans & Financial Access

• Only active members of SAVI CIRCLE are eligible for loans.
• To qualify for your first loan, you must have saved at least UGX 125,000 (the minimum limit). Your loan limit will depend on your total savings and your repayment history. 
• This loan system is fully integrated into the wallet and will expand as SAVI CIRCLE grows.

What is the Brotherhood Fund?

UGX 5,000 from each member’s monthly contribution goes into a shared pool called the Brotherhood Fund.

This fund supports:

• Members in critical emergencies (health, family loss, etc.)

• Local community relief activities

• Unexpected needs within the program

It is not withdrawable, does not earn interest, and is not part of your personal balance.
